PIN code for your card will be issued in an envelope at the Bank outlet when you receive your plastic card.
You can change your PIN using one of the following methods:

1. Change PIN in Halyk:
If you forgot your PIN or want to set a different one, use Halyk app:
• Open Halyk and choose the desired card
• Go to “PIN code”
• Choose “PIN code setup/change” and follow the instructions
• Confirm the PIN change with the code from SMS

Important! To activate the new PIN, insert the card into any Halyk Bank ATM and perform any transaction at the ATM.

2. Change PIN at Halyk Bank ATM:
• Insert the card and enter your current PIN
• Choose the “PIN code setup/change” option
• Enter your new PIN
• Confirm your new PIN

Done! The ATM will issue a receipt confirming successful PIN setup.
You can top up your Halyk Cards Via:
• ATMs with Cash-In functionality
• card-to-card transfers via Halyk
• commission-free 24/7 via Halyk Bank payment terminals
• other banks supporting card-to-card transfers
• Via bank branch cash desks
The commission for topping up your card via ATMs, terminals, or transfer is KZT 0.
You can pay with a children’s digital card:

• pay by smartphone without a card via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and QR code

The monthly limit for all expense transactions - KZT 50,000 (the parent can change the limit at their discretion).
The monthly cash withdrawal limit - KZT 20,000 (the parent can change the limit at their discretion).
You can check the available balance on your card in the Halyk app, at any Halyk Bank ATM by choosing the “Available balance” option, or via the Bank’s contact center.
You can only change the trusted phone number for your child at a Bank outlet
If you need a card urgently, you can re-issue your Halyk card within 5 minutes at any outlet of the bank, on the same service terms and conditions, and start using it immediately, the funds on your card will be available.

Important! To activate a new PIN code, insert the card into any Halyk ATM, and conduct any transaction at the ATM.

You can also wait for your retained card to be delivered to a bank outlet:
• Within 5 business days, you will receive an SMS with the address of the outlet where you can pick up your card. The list of retained card delivery outlets in your city is available at the link below.
• Until you receive your card, you can continue to use your card, having previously removed the temporary blocking in Halyk app: choose the card you forgot at the ATM, in the “Settings” section disable the “Temporary blocking” option.
You can also remove the blocking by contacting the Call Center at 7111.
Once the card is unblocked and until you receive it, you can perform all transactions:
- Add the card to Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and pay with your smartphone.

In case you forgot your card in the ATM of another bank: contact the call center of the bank where you forgot your card.

Yes, a fee may apply as the transaction is processed with the DCC service (Dynamic Currency Conversion). The purpose of this service is to allow the customer, at their discretion, to make a payment/withdraw funds in the currency of the Bank issuer's country – KZT. In this case, an additional conversion occurs, and the acquiring bank charges the fee.
No, in this case, no additional fees are charged. Standard currency conversion fees apply when the currency of the card account does not match the transaction currency, as well as fees for cash withdrawals abroad, according to the Bank’s exchange rate and tariffs. For single-currency cards, funds will be debited at the exchange rate applied at the time the financial document confirming the transaction is received from the acquiring bank. For multi-currency cards, the exchange rate at the time of funds transfer between accounts on the card is applied.
To close the card, you need to visit the nearest Bank outlet. You need to have an identity document with you.
