Currently, 18 types of digital documents are available in Halyk:
• ID card;
• Birth certificate;
• Marriage certificate;
• Name change certificate;
• Divorce certificate;
• Pension certificate;
• Kandas certificate;
• Social ID;
• Disability certificate;
• Large family certificate;
• Recipient of targeted social assistance;
• Student ID;
• Diploma;
• Vaccination passport;
• PCR test;
• Driver's license;
• Vehicle registration certificate;
• Technical Passport of Real Estate

According to Article 5 of the Law "On Public Services," service providers are obligated to use electronic documents from the digital documents service to provide public services in cases stipulated by subordinate regulatory legal acts defining the procedure for providing public services.
Furthermore, digital documents can be used to access state services at Public Service Centers by presenting a digital identity, as well as to register at the airport and when boarding a train at the railway station.

Many services, including banking ones, can be obtained via digital documents. However, there are banking operations that, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, require the provision of an original document.

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where originals of documents are required, for example, for expense transactions.

Digital documents appear in the public service as paper documents of citizens are digitized by state agencies.
In case the documents are not displayed, the “electronic government” portal egov.kz provides the opportunity to digitize documents for their inclusion in the database of government agencies.
Frequently used digital documents, such as a vaccination passport and a PCR test result, are updated by clicking the “Update documents” in the “My documents” section.

In case, according to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the provision of the original document is not required to receive a certain service, you are not entitled to refuse to provide the service.
If the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides for the provision of the original or a notarized copy, they shall be provided.

To obtain the latest digital documents, you should click the “Update Documents” in the “My Documents” section. However, if the old document is still displayed after updating, you need to contact the relevant statee authority.
