International transfers of money from the sender’s bank account are made to the bank accounts of beneficiaries (individuals/legal entities) opened with other STBs on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts opened with foreign banks.

Transfer currency - USD/EUR/RUB/CHF/GBP/CAD/AUD/SEK/TRY/JPY/KGS.
The following details are required for sending a SWIFT transfer:
• Sender’s ID;
• Full name/name, account number and the address of a beneficiary, SWIFT/BIC (additionally for a regional branch: VO code, code of reason for tax registration for a legal entity, IIN for an individual);
• City/country/name of the beneficiary bank;
• Purpose of payment code

Transfers are available in the app and in the Bank’s outlet.
Purpose of payment code (PPC) is a three-digit numeric code designating the purpose of payment. The chooseed PPC must match the purpose of payment.
The bank charges a fee for clarification of details according to the Bank’s tariffs.
Go to the “Transfers” – “All transfers” – “Transfer history” section.

To cancel a transfer in Halyk, find the transfer in the Transfer history, open it and tap Cancel if this function is available at the time of this action.

Sending via Halyk app:
1. In the “Transfers” section, go to “All Transfers” and choose “SWIFT: Send Transfer.”
2. Fill in the transfer information. If necessary, attach documents by taking photos (file size should not exceed 20 MB).
Important! All fields shall be filled in using the Latin alphabet. If the transfer is in Russian rubles or Kyrgyz soms, you can submit the application in Cyrillic.
3. Read the terms and conditions for currency transfers and confirm the transfer with the code received via SMS.
4. After confirmation, your application will be reviewed by the Bank within one business day.
5. If additional information/documents are required, you will receive a notification.
6. Track the status of the transfer in the “Transfer History” tab.

In the window that opens, you need to fill in the “Contract Number” if available; if there is no number, you can leave it blank. Next, you need to fill in the “Contract Date” and, if necessary, attach documents by taking a photo of them (the file size should not exceed 20 MB). You can track the status of the application in the “Transfer History”.

You can send the transfer from your current account and from a card, excluding special cards, credit cards, corporate cards, and electronic wallets (Wallet).
No. To send the transfer, the system can automatically convert the amount at the Bank's exchange rate into the transfer currency. The conversion rate is displayed on the application screen.

If the transfer received by the Bank requires additional information from the customer, you need to go to the “Transfers” section, then to the “All Transfers” section, and choose “SWIFT: Receive Transfer.” Next, you need to “go to transfer details” and raed the comment on the incoming transfer. Fill in the transfer information. If necessary, attach documents by taking a photo (the file size should not exceed 20 MB). Then send it for review for crediting funds. After the Bank successfully verifies the provided information, the transfer will be credited to your account.
To initiate a return/investigation for SWIFT transfers, go to the "Transfers" section, navigate to the "History" tab at the top, choose the transfer – "Go to Details," and then click "Return Transfer/Investigation" at the bottom. Next, choose "Reason for Return" and choose the account from which to debit the fee.
When choosing “Return/Investigation of a SWIFT Transfer”:
1) If the sent transfer is returned on the day of sending, the transfer fee will be refunded;
2) If the sent transfer is returned the next day, the transfer fee will not be refunded;
3) If the sent transfer is sent for investigation, the fee will be charged according to the Bank’s tariffs published on the Bank’s corporate website www.halykbank.kz - Tariffs.
