When withdrawing USD 100,000 or more, or the equivalent in another currency, a large withdrawal request should be submitted. To prevent illegal financial operations, additional information regarding the source of funds/accumulation of funds in the customer's account and the intended use of the funds is required. Supporting documents may also be requested if necessary. We kindly ask for your understanding, as this requirement is standard practice for all banks in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as established by the state regulator.
Transfer terms and conditions via mobile phone number:
• The transfer is sent to the mobile phone number of Halyk Bank customer, and the funds will be credited to the recipient’s primary Halyk Bank card.
• The primary card – is chosen independently on the Home and is the card for receiving transfers via mobile phone number. By default, the primary card is the most active one.
Transfers between Halyk Bank cards are made without fee.
• In Halyk, on the Home, click “Transfers”, choose “By phone number”
• Enter the recipient’s mobile phone number, or choose from the address book
• Enter the transfer amount and make the transfer
Done! You will receive a notification about the debit, and the money will be credited to the recipient’s account. You can also reply to the notification received from the sender.
Tips:
1) If you frequently transfer money to the same persons, you can save the recipient to the list so you don’t need to search for the phone number in the address book.
To do this, after the transfer, don’t forget to check “Save recipient” and you won’t need to enter the phone number again.
2) You can also see the transfers you made in the “History” tab, display the receipt on the screen and repeat the transfer, or share it.

Done! The card will appear in Accounts within the day and you can start using the card.
Additionally, in Halyk app you can order a plastic card for your digital cards.
1) Plastic card delivery is only available to the following cities: Almaty, Astana, Shymkent, Karagandy, Taldykorgan, Kyzylorda, Atyrau, Aktau, Aktobe, Uralsk, Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kostanai, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Petropavlovsk, Taraz, Turkestan, Zhanаozen, Jezkazgan, Temirtau, Ekibastuz, Balkhash, Baikonur.
2) Card delivery is only performed on business days. The card issuance request will be processed on the first business day.
Other types of cards can be ordered at any Halyk Bank outlet.
To open a digital card online in Halyk app:

1. Via Halyk app:
• Open Halyk and choose the desired card
• Go to “PIN Code”
• Choose “PIN Code Setup/Change” and follow the instructions
• Confirm the PIN code change with the code from SMS
Important! To activate the new PIN code, insert the card into any Halyk Bank ATM and perform any operation at the ATM.
2. Via ATM:
• Send an SMS with the text: EPIN**** (**** – the last 4 digits of the card) to number 7111. For example, EPIN1234
• You will receive SMS with ePIN code to your number, valid for 2 hours*
• Insert the card into any Halyk Bank ATM and enter the received ePIN
• At the ATM, choose the “PIN Code Setup/Change” section and set your own PIN code
Done! PIN code is set.
* If you do not change the ePIN to a PIN code within 2 hours at the ATM, re-obtain the ePIN using one of the following methods:
• Via SMS: send an SMS with the text: EPIN**** (**** – the last 4 digits of the card) to number 7111. For example, EPIN1234
• Via the contact center: call 7111 and choose “Get card service” then “Get temporary PIN code for the card”
• Open Halyk and choose the desired card
• Go to “PIN Code”
• Choose “PIN Code Setup/Change” and follow the instructions
• Confirm the PIN code change with the code from SMS
Important! To activate the new PIN code, insert the card into any Halyk Bank ATM and perform any operation at the ATM.
2. Via ATM:

• Insert the card into any Halyk Bank ATM and enter the received ePIN

If you forgot your PIN code and/or want to change it, set a memorable PIN code in Halyk app:
• Open Halyk and choose the desired card
• Choose “PIN code” - “Set/Change PIN code” and follow the instructions
• Confirm the PIN code change with the code from SMS
Important! To activate the new PIN code, make any transaction at ATM.
To change your PIN code, you can also use any Halyk Bank ATM, insert your card and enter your current PIN code:
• Change PIN code
• Enter new PIN code
• Confirm new PIN code
The ATM will issue a receipt confirming successful PIN code setup.
• Open Halyk and choose the desired card
• Choose “PIN code” - “Set/Change PIN code” and follow the instructions
• Confirm the PIN code change with the code from SMS
Important! To activate the new PIN code, make any transaction at ATM.
To change your PIN code, you can also use any Halyk Bank ATM, insert your card and enter your current PIN code:
• Change PIN code
• Enter new PIN code
• Confirm new PIN code
The ATM will issue a receipt confirming successful PIN code setup.
If you urgently need a card:
1) You can order an additional card online in Halyk App: in the “Accounts” section, choose the card – click “Order a card”, then choose “Open an additional card”.
An additional card will be issued to your existing account with delivery.
2) You can reissue your Halyk Bank card in 5 minutes at any bank outlet, maintaining your current service terms and conditions and start using it immediately; funds on your card will be available.
You can easily set a PIN code in Halyk App: choose the desired card, then choose “PIN code” – “Set/change PIN code”.
Important! To activate the new PIN code, insert the card into any Halyk Bank ATM and perform any transaction at the ATM.
You can also wait for your delayed card to be delivered to a bank outlet:
• Within 5 business days, you will receive an SMS with the address of the outlet where you can pick up your card. You can find a list of outlets for issuing delayed cards in your city at the link below.
• Until you receive the card, you can continue using your card by temporarily lifting the block in Halyk App: choose the card you forgot in the ATM – in the “Locks” section, disable the “Temporary lock” option.
You can also remove the lock by calling the Contact Center at 7111.
After unlocking the card and before receiving it, you can perform all operations:
- Link the card to Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and pay with your smartphone.
Refer to the special sections for instructions on setting up contactless payments.
- Pay in Halyk App without fees for mobile communication, internet, cable television, utilities, and more than 6000 other services.
- Transfer to any cards and by phone number in Halyk
- Withdraw cash at Halyk Bank ATM without a card
If you forgot your card in another bank's ATM: contact the bank's contact center where you forgot your card.
1) You can order an additional card online in Halyk App: in the “Accounts” section, choose the card – click “Order a card”, then choose “Open an additional card”.
An additional card will be issued to your existing account with delivery.

If you forgot your card in another bank's ATM: contact the bank's contact center where you forgot your card.
At the first application of a foreign customer*, who does not have residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to open an account/deposit with the Bank, such customer may be serviced only upon personal application and only at the Bank's outlet*.
No accounts can be opened by power of attorney from foreign customers*!
*Attention! Foreign citizens with a foreign passport cannot open an account online in Halyk app. To open an account, you should contact the Bank's outlet.
Regarding the amendments to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the number of cards issued to one customer - non-resident of the Republic of Kazakhstan is limited - not more than 1 (one) with validity period of 12 months.
Current account opening for foreign citizens* should be performed as follows:
1. If you have residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan - residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan and IIN of the Republic of Kazakhstan**, a document confirming the address of registration/residence in the Republic of Kazakhstan (lease agreement, confirmation of real estate in the Republic of Kazakhstan owned or otherwise owned by a non-resident/or spouse and/or close relatives, temporary residence permit, which, among other things, contains the start and end dates of the permit, the purpose of stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan, IIN and address of residence of a foreign citizen*** in the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc.).
2. If you do not have a residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan and provide a passport of a foreign citizen opening of an account is performed only at the Bank's outlet as follows:
- personal visit of the foreign citizen to the outlet;
- providing the following set of documents:
1) Passport of a foreign citizen 2) IIN of the Republic of Kazakhstan
3) Application form
4) documents confirming the right to stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan: certificate from the place of work/employment order/employee ID card/employment contract confirming the place of work in the Republic of Kazakhstan/reference from kindergarten or school of the child with birth certificate attached/document issued by the educational institution confirming the fact of studying in the Republic of Kazakhstan (study agreement, other) 5) document confirming the address of registration/residence in the Republic of Kazakhstan (lease agreement, confirmation of real estate in the Republic of Kazakhstan owned or otherwise owned by a non-resident/or spouse and/or close relatives, temporary residence permit, which, among other things, contains the start and end dates of the permit, the purpose of stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan, IIN and address of residence of a foreign citizen in the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc.).
**A foreigner can obtain an IIN independently only at Public Service Center.
***Issued to the receiving party in accordance with the Rules for issuance of temporary and permanent residence permits to foreigners and stateless persons in the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the Order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan No.992 dated 4 December 2015

• lost/stolen/damaged
• left card in ATM
• expiration date
