On amendments to the Payment Card Issue and Servicing Accession Agreement

Dear customer of the Bank!

Please be notified of the following amendments to the Payment Card Issue and Servicing Accession Agreement (the “Agreement”):

1. The limits on the number of cards issued per customer were amended:

  • special accounts for allowances not more than 2 (two);
  • for payment cards (except for cards for Special Accounts for allowances) - not more than 9 (nine). The Bank shall be entitled to set additional limits on issued cards for each card product;

2. A condition is added to the Agreement that the Bank using a recording device may record any telephone calls of the Customer to the Bank. The recording may be used to resolve disputes between the Parties, to improve the customer experience in voice service channels, and to analyze customer service quality control in voice service channels.

3. The Bank's right is added to the Agreement:

1) If the customer replenishes the account in cash or by sending a transfer before the money is credited to the account, repay at the expense of the replenishment amount the Customer's debts on any of its obligations to the Bank, as well as on the instructions of third parties entitled to withdraw money in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan

2) to request the Customer to provide any other information and documents stipulated by the Bank's internal regulatory documents and procedures on anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism and (or) within the framework of the requirements set forth by international economic sanctions;

3) to temporarily block the card (including with the right of its subsequent withdrawal) and, if necessary, to restrict functionality in Internet banking:

  • in case of violation of card issue limits by the customer
  • in case of no cash flow (incoming and/or outgoing payments and money transfers) on the account for more than 12 (twelve) months.

The amendments to the Agreement shall enter into force on 2 October 2024.

In case of disagreement with the amendments to the Agreement, you are entitled to repudiate the Agreement by giving a written application to the Bank outlet.
