Halyk Bank announced of awarding the Top Employer Kazakhstan 2026 status by Top Employers Institute – thereby confirming the result for the second year in a row. 

Why this is a significant achievement. 

Top Employers Institute certification is not a “recognition award”, but the verification of the HR system based on huge data sets: methodology publications note the analysis of more than 350 HR practices and over 600 metrics, as well as a threshold – at least 60% in each section to pass.

“For me, this status is not just a confirmation of quality of the HR processes. It is a recognition of maturity of our team and management culture that we are consistently building in Halyk Bank. In 2025, we became the first Kazakh brand to obtain the Top Employer status and still remain the only Kazakh brand in this list. This result is evidenced by daily work of thousands of employees, strong management team and our shared responsibility for sustainable development of Halyk Bank. The assessment is conducted as part of the international HR Best Practices Survey, which covers 6 HR domains and 20 topics – from people strategy and working environment to learning, D&I and wellbeing. Halyk was scored above the international benchmark following the audit.

It is also important to note that in 2025 Halyk Bank was named the first Kazakh brand to obtain this international status.
