Halyk recognized as Kazakhstan's best bank in the Business Financing category by SME Banking 2025

At one of the most authoritative and influential international events dedicated to the development of the banking sector, the annual Global SME Banking Forum 2025, held in Vienna (Austria), the results of a large-scale study covering 1,000 banks around the world were announced. During the forum, regional and global winners were determined in four key categories: digital banking, sustainable development and inclusiveness, business banking, and business financing.

According to the published TOP20 SME Banks 2025 rating, Halyk has been recognized as the best bank in Kazakhstan in the Business Financing category. The assessment included an analysis of product solutions for financing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including credit products, financial leasing, and factoring; service quality; and the availability of financial support tools for SMEs

“This recognition from an agency specializing in the SME sector worldwide once again confirms our status as a champion of the banking industry in working with businesses and accountants. It is very important for us that more and more micro-enterprises, accountants, and financial directors are becoming our new partners every day – they use government support programs, receive guarantees, and offer their services not only to more than 10 million of our retail customers, but also to the largest enterprises in the economy,” said Dauren Sartayev, First Deputy CEO of Halyk Bank JSC.
