With regard to the information published on a number of information resources, with reference to the dubious primary source Migalki.pw stating the "leak" of personal data of customers, JSC Halyk Bank claims that such information has been verified and it is false and damaging business reputation of JSC Halyk Bank (the “Bank”).

In order to ensure the safety and convenience of its customers, the Bank applies a whole range of effective protective measures aimed at identifying the customers and ensuring the security of personal data.

The customers' access to the Bank’s products through online services is protected by modern technical controls, meets the security requirements of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and international security standards. In addition, the Bank keeps working on to improve the security of our services using advanced security facilities.

Based on the foregoing, the Bank reminds that the dissemination of knowingly false information is punishable under the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Therefore, the Bank reserves the right to apply to judicial and law enforcement authorities to protect its constitutional rights.
