Pay with smartphone without a card!
We are glad to inform you that from 25 April 2018 myHalyk application offers you a new service - contactless NFC payments for payments using a smartphone!
No need of plastic, just have myHalyk application, any active Halyk Bank’s Mastercard card and you can pay for purchases with your smartphone in any contactless payment supported POS-terminal.
On which cards can I activate NFC payments?
Halyk Bank cards of the international payment system Mastercard.
What if there is no Mastercard?
You may open debit cards Mastercard Classic or Gold, and instantly issue a free Mastercard Virtual card in myHalyk Internet banking (more: https://www.halykbank.kz/presscenter/novosti/virtualnaya_kartochka).
How much does the service cost?
The service is free for all myHalyk users.
How to activate NFC payments?
- Select Mastercard on ""Cards and accounts"" page;
- Select the function ""Activate NFC payments"" on ""Services"" tab;
- Confirm the transaction by entering the Access Code and confirming the Conditions.
How to make NFC payment?
- Open myHalyk application and press on the contactless payment sign on the login screen (in the upper left corner);
- Enter the Access Code, select the card and press on it to enter the payment mode;
- Swipe your smartphone to the POS-terminal for contactless payment;
- The result of the transaction is displayed on the smartphone screen;
- The card balance to which the service is connected will be used to pay for purchases.
You can pay for the purchase by swiping the mobile phone both inside and outside the application. To do this, activate the function ""Background NFC payments"" in myHalyk application settings.
Which smartphones support NFC payments?
The service is available for owners of Android OS 4.4 and above smartphones, which support NFC technology.
