The government of Kazakhstan have established the Kazakhstan Halkyna (For the People of Kazakhstan) Public Social Foundation (PSF), which will deal with issues of assistance to citizens of the country
The objectives of the Kazakhstan Halkyna (For the People of Kazakhstan) Foundation are:
- providing charitable assistance to the population of Kazakhstan on issues of additional provision over and above measures of state support in the areas of health care, education and social support, culture and sports;
- providing assistance to the affected population in emergencies and during the declaration of the state of emergency;
- assistance in developing and improving access to sports infrastructure for children and those in need from socially vulnerable groups;
- supporting the families of law enforcement officers, special security services, and military personnel recognized as deceased while defending the territorial integrity and security of Kazakhstan;
- providing charitable assistance in other priority areas of the Foundation's activities.
